Time to mark your calendars and book your hotel room for this annual club favourite on August 7 and 8. This is 2 day drive on some of BC's best and most scenic drivers roads. We leave West Vancouver early Saturday and head for Whistler and Pemberton and then the Duffey to Lilloet and on to Kamloops where we stay for the night. Day 2 is more fun roads back to Vancouver via highway 5a and highway 3.

1. The Duffey was repaved last year
2. The Sea to Sky highway to Whistler is now a scenic drivers road.
3. Great coffee at the Galileo in Britannia Beach
4. Lunch at the Big Sky Golf Course in Pemberton- great food and scenery
5. Our overnight is at the brand new Best Western in Kamloops
6, Dinner will be within walking distance so no drinking and driving issues
7. We will experience a new routing in and around Kamloops
8. We keep a favourite stop on Sunday at the Manning Park Lodge for lunch and the Alpine viewpoint
9. A great drive and great cars
10. Comradeship of fellow BMW enthusiasts
 
We have block booked 15 rooms at the Best Western - call 1-250-374-7878 and mention the BMW Car Club of BC to get the group rate of $119 plus taxes. This includes breakfast and is for single, double, triple or quad occupancy. Booking must be made by July 25. Book now to avoid disappointment. Advance your driving skills with this full day training session held using the closed road course at Mission Raceway Park.

Session requires completion of one of our Car Control sessions. Registrations are subject to verification of having taken a qualifying entry level course, or having met other qualifying prerequisites.

Emphasis of day is on skills exercises for safe road driving learned in a controlled environment with qualified instructors.
Instruction is provided by Driving Unlimited

  $290 CDN for non members
  $280 for valid club members.

Road Skills session is limited to 15 cars, as we are splitting this day with an Advanced HPD group, see below

Important Note: Noise and safety restrictions apply at all BMW Club events, including driver training. Vehicles must be in sound mechanical condition, meet ICBC regulations as street legal and properly mufflered to allow normal conversation in the vehicle. The noise limit at our events is 90db. Cars must be equipped equally for both driver & passenger safety and comfort.
