20th Annual Duffey Lake Road Trip @ Duffey Lake
Aug 26 – Aug 27 all-day

Are you interested in two days of driving through stunning scenery ranging from the coastal rain forest, high alpine valleys, semi arid high interior highlands and back to the coast? Not only is the scenery stunning with high mountain passes, and river canyons, the roads also offer their own unique challenges.

This trip offers a great cross section of what traveling in BC is all about.

The trip takes its name from the 99 km second leg from Pemberton to Lillooet where the road climbs up into a 1500 meter high sub alpine valley that winds along Duffey Lake and ends up at Seton Portage near Lillooet in a hot semi arid area.

We’ll meet at Guildford and then head east to Hope and then up the canyon, with a lunch stop at Spences Bridge Hotel in Spences Bridge, then on to Kamloops for our overnight stay.

The trip home will be via the great roads that take us to Cache Creek, then through Marble Canyon Provincial Park and on to Lillloet and then to our lunch stop in Pemberton and then back to Vancouver via the Sea to Sky.

To participate, you need to book your hotel room in Kamloops before July 25, then use Karelo to confirm your participation, and to pay for the two Saturday prepaid group meals.

This is not a drop-in event, and you cannot join us for just a portion of the drive.
